The price of certified translations is governed by Decree of the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic No. 491/2004 on fees and compensation of costs and lost time for expert witnesses, interpreters and translators. The tariff fee for a certified translation is 19.92 €/standard page. One standard page is 1,800 characters with spaces. In case of simple documents (civil registration documents, extracts from criminal record, study reports, etc.) a lower price may be agreed.
The price of non-certified translations depends on the extent and the complexity of texts and ranges from 12 to 15 €/standard page.
